The coil suspension of Jeep TJ is tough and does it's job very well...however, it leaves the steering box susceptible to rocks. The Steering Box Skid Plates bolt, and connect easily and only needs one hole drilled. The Steering Box Skid Plates provide the necessary protection to the steering box. It is made of 3/16" thick steel and fits very well to your TJ.
